Activity 4


Activity 4 Geography:

1.       An informal name for the United Nations to discuss world problems.

6.      . It is a United Nations conference held to discuss environmental, development and energy issues.

7.       Systematic scrutiny of patterns of production — particularly the production of toxic components, such as lead in gasoline, or poisonous waste including radioactive chemicals;alternative sources of energy to replace the use of fossil fuels which are linked to global climate change; new reliance on public transportation systems in order to reduce vehicle emissions, congestion in cities and the health problems caused by polluted air and smog; the growing scarcity of water.

8.      .If left unchecked, the population of the world will use up natural resources in a non-sustainable way. 

9.       Yes, it could have been better and some are going the opposite way but it has had an affect.

10.   Sustainable development means to not use up your resources, and the world summit want people to not use up all their resources.

ACTIVITY 8:


1.       It was to fight colonialism and demand independence from the colonizers.

 
2.       The anc (1920), the south African Indian congress and the Africans people organization in the 1950’s.

3.       Argued that black people were being treated unfairly and think that they should have a common heritage.

4.       It was saying that all the black people must be equal not to take back the land.

5.       They sorted out colonialism in Ghana  with non-violence protests and won back the country in that.

6.       To telling how the Africans in the middle of Africa fought for power and refused to give up until they had their freedom and their rights. its a song saying that they must fight for freedom.
